A Distinguished Voice -- Superintendent Dr. Patricia Montgomery places a state UIL medal around sophomore Torrence Spears neck at the Tuesday, August 17 board meeting.  Torrence was selected as an Outstanding Performer at the 2010 Texas State Solo-Ensemble Vocal Solo Contest, an honor that only 231 students out of 85,000 participating students earned.
