It's hard to believe it's 2019! The first semester has come to a close and there are so many things in store for AJH this Spring. Our staff and students have been working hard this year, I am so proud of all of them as we strive to make AJH great! I hope that you have had a fantastic winter break with family and friends.
I am honored to be the Principal of Angleton Junior High in Angleton Independent School District, which has a reputation of producing learners and leaders who overcome obstacles and blaze trails to impact our community and beyond. My passion for education and supporting the success of all students has been shaped over the last 20 years as a fine arts teacher, special programs and assessment principal, assistant principal, and principal in the Houston, Texas area. It is my mission to motivate, inspire and propel each member of our school and community toward continued excellence and lifelong learning.
Our Angleton Junior High School community of learners is “dedicated to the belief that all lives have value, and through education, compassion, and respect we can work together to build a better tomorrow.” Our goal is for all students to be successful while working together toward a standard of academic excellence. We work hard to support one another and grow together. The school’s climate provides personalized learning for every student, while building on strong community partnerships. In our school community everyone is treated fairly, respected, and appreciated.
I look forward to a great second semester! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas that you would like to discuss.
