21-22 Drop-Off/Pick-Up ProceduresTo help fix some of the traffic back up at the high school campus, we have developed drop-off and pick-up plans for the campus. Officers and school personnel will be out helping to direct traffic. We ask parents and students to be safe and respectful of all drivers, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through drop-off and pick-up during these first few days of school.Drop-Off PlanStudents will need to be dropped off in certain locations based on their grade level.-- Freshmen will need to come in on the auditorium side of the campus off of FM 523.-- Sophomores will need to come in on the gym side of the campus off of Campus Dr.-- Juniors or seniors can come in on either side.-- Students with special needs can still be dropped off in the front of the building by entering on the Campus Dr. side by the gym. You may contact the campus to request drop-off at the front of the campus for your child.Juniors and seniors who drive can still park as usual.Due to traffic at Angleton Junior High School, we recommend that you do NOT go down Henderson Dr. or Downing Rd. when dropping off at AHS. The suggestion is to come down FM 523 as much as possible.Pick-Up PlanThe pick-up plan will not be designated by grade level. Students can be picked up in the parking lots on the gym and auditorium sides of the campus or in the baseball field parking lot. If you pick up your child in the front of the school, you will need to circle around the flagpole area and be sure to loop back the way you came into the parking lot.

IMPORTANT UPDATE - AHS and Traffic Changes
Due to the congestion from the construction of the new CTE Center and the changes to pick-up and drop-off procedures, Angleton High School has had to make an adjustment to the morning and afternoon flow of traffic from 7:15 to 7:55 am and again from 3:30 to 4:15 pm.
If you enter on the auditorium side, you will have to park on the auditorium side. If you enter on the gym side, you can park on the gym side or in the front parking lot.
You WILL NOT be able to cross over to the other parking lot during those windows of time in the morning and afternoon (7:15 to 7:55 am and 3:30 to 4:15 pm). Traffic between lots will be blocked off, and you must exit the same side you entered.
AHS will continue to monitor the traffic and make adjustments if necessary. Thank you for your patience.
-------------------------Starting Monday, February 1, construction will begin on the new Angleton High School CTE Center. AHS will have to reroute traffic for its regular drop-off and pick-up procedures.
This construction is expected to change the drop-off and pick-up procedures significantly. We ask that you be prepared starting Monday to allocate more time for drop-off and pick-up.
The bus lane will be moved to the auditorium side of the building. Additionally, the back staff parking lot and half of the auditorium parking lot will be closed. Student overflow parking will be available at the baseball field.
