PURPOSE: Opportunity to develop current ISD Wildcats and train new recruits to become future AISD teachers.

Teachworthy Success | Expanding Candidate Pool | Meet High Area of Teaching Needs

AISD's Grow Our Own program captures every level of experience from our graduating seniors with little or no college credit to a teacher candidate seeking a paid internship. Angleton ISD aims to provide an incentive that includes the potential for monetary support that grows with college experience and dedication to the field in conjunction with AISD training and support. Click the Presentation below to view the PowerPoint from the March 7th meetingGOO 2024 Meeting Presentation

The GOO program through Angleton ISD seeks to:

    • Meet you where you are
    • Design an individual pathway for participants to move forward through established levels
    • Contribute financial support and professional development resources along the way
