  • OBJECTIVE 1.1

    1.1 Analyze current data and curriculum to promote equitable outcomes for students. 

    STRATEGIES

    1.1.1 Ensure that each grade level and core content area has a curriculum that includes lessons, resources, assessments and extensions.
    1.1.2 Develop an ongoing process for evaluating curriculum, assessments and resources.

     

     

    OBJECTIVE 1.2

    Equip educators with the skills to design lessons that engage. 

    STRATEGIES

    1.2.1 Develop and provide a common set of instructional strategies that will be implemented in all classrooms. 
    1.2.2 Develop a process to improve pedagogy through job-embedded coaching, mentorship and professional development for all instructional staff.

     

     

    OBJECTIVE 2.1

    2.1 Develop an accountability plan to help teachers establish a positive and trusting relationship with students.

    STRATEGIES 

    2.1.1 Attain positive and trusting relationships with our AISD students, staff, families and community.
    2.1.2 Provide a continuum of support for teachers and leaders on classroom and school-wide rigor and management strategies.

     

     

    OBJECTIVE 2.2

    2.2 Train staff to promote consistent, clear procedures and high expectations to create optimal student engagement.

    STRATEGIES

    2.2.1 Define and integrate social and emotional learning practices within the instructional environment to strengthen student engagement and well-being.
    2.2.2 Create district-wide conditions that allow for differentiated, job-embedded professional learning for all staff that addresses SEL.
