2022 Important Dates:
The "Meet the Cats" committee conducting a parents meeting on Saturday, January 29th at 10:00 AM in the AHS Lecture Hall. They are asking all parents to attend to go over the "Meet the Cats" agenda and also discuss concession stand operations. They are also asking if all players can donate a "3" 2 Liter soft drink to be used for a game for "Meet the Cats". The 2 Liters can start being delivered to the concession stand this Saturday as well after the meeting.
I have been Teaching/Coaching in Angleton for 18 years. I am a 1999 graduate of Angleton High School. In high school I was a three year letterman in baseball as a catcher for the Wildcats. I attended the Univarsity of Houston and graduated in May of 2004 with a Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology Movement and Sports Studies. This is my 7th year of being the head baseball coach in Angleton. In 6 years as a head coach the Wildcat's overall record is 89-56-2 and have won 2 District Championships in 2016 and 2019. The 2016 District Title was the first out right district title since 1958. The Wildcats have also made the playoffs 4 out of the last 5 years and have accomplished 3 Area Championships.
Varsity Assistant Coach
Clayton Stewart is the varsity assistant baseball coach and coaches varsity football. He provides in-class support for students with special education needs. Stewart has spent 14 years coaching and teaching in AISD. He and his wife, Kaysie, have two daughters, Kimber and Tealle.
