Students work with all types of plants, including live and artificial flowers, and use accessories like bows and ribbons. Floral designers create wreaths, bouquets, table centerpieces, corsages and other displays. In floral design students will learn basice floral design concepts, care and handling of flowers and plants, design elements and concepts to make floral arrangelments.
