The Athletic Training Student program is designed for students interested in Sports Medicine and working alongside athletics. In this program, students will learn the basics of athletic training. This includes but is not limited to taping, evaluation skills, CPR/AED, use of treatment modalities, and learning how to prepare and manage athletic events. These students are able to work in a variety of sports within Angleton High School Athletics. Entry into the program is through an application and interview process. Applications may be picked up by an Athletic Trainer. Students interested must show commitment to academics and have no disciplinary issues. Athletic Training students are held to the same standards as Student athletes, and must understand this requires dedication of their time and effort.
