Communications & Public Relations
The Public Information Department's goal is to provide support services to employees at every level of AISD while acting as the district's liaison to the community. The department works with student groups, teachers, principals and central office administrators to help them achieve their goals. Although the Public Information Officer often directly teaches various students and staff members skills related to the field, indirectly the department serves all students and staff in the district.
The Public Information Department provides support for the Board of Trustees, administration and faculty/staff through two-way communications with our external and internal publics. Activities fall into five main areas:
