My name is Shelley McCoy. I am pleased and proud to be the Rancho Isabella Librarian, and I want every student to feel welcome in our library. I believe my primary job is to teach students to love reading, and I enjoy reading aloud to all of our students! I also believe it is extremely important for our students to know how to look up library materials of interest to them, and to be able to find these on the library shelves or online.

When I am not at school, I spend my spare time enjoying my two adult children and my wonderful son-in-law, all of whom are avid readers. I also enjoy cooking, visiting with friends and eating Mexican food.

In addition to working at Rancho Isabella, I have a part-time job at Brazosport College. I work at the college in the evening Monday through Thursday, and I work full-time during the summer. Developing courses for the youth program and overseeing Kids College are my biggest projects.

I want to thank you for visiting our website. Please contact me by phone or by email if you have questions about the Rancho Isabella Library.
