We believe we have a responsibility to fuel the students and staff at Angleton ISD for excellence. We take pride in being the ones who prepare students for the day each morning with breakfast and who keep them fueled for learning with a nutritious lunch. We believe that our job is more than just serving meals, it's about supporting each child and the community as a whole.

2022-2023 Back to School Meal Rates
During the pandemic, schools were able to offer no cost meals to all students due to temporary program flexibilities provided by the federal government. Unfortunately, Congress did not provide funding in this year’s budget to allow schools to serve free meals to all students for the 2022-2023 school year.
Schools will transition back to requiring applications for free and reduced-price meals to meet USDA requirements. Families who believe they qualify must submit an application to be eligible to receive free or reduced-price meals. Students who are not income eligible must pay for meals.
Angleton ISD Child Nutrition has worked hard to secure free breakfast and free lunch for each elementary student every day.
Secondary students can receive a free breakfast every day and pay only $2.75 for lunch if they do not qualify for free or reduced-price lunches.
More information on the free and reduced-price meal applications will be sent home before the start of school. For more information, please contact the Child Nutrition department at 979-864-8012.
SECONDARY CAMPUSES - BREAKFAST IS FREE; LUNCH IS $2.75
During the pandemic, schools were able to offer no-cost meals to all students due to temporary program flexibilities provided by the federal government. Unfortunately, Congress did not provide funding in this year’s budget to allow schools to serve free meals to all students for the 2022-2023 school year and we will have to transition back to meal rates on our secondary campuses.
Students will be able to get a FREE breakfast each day and pay only $2.75 for lunch if they do not qualify for the free or reduced-price meals.
Secondary students may qualify for free and reduced meals. Please use the Income Chart to determine if you qualify for meal benefits and apply online at schoolcafé.com
ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS & CATS - BREAKFAST AND LUNCH ARE FREE
Our Elementary campuses & CATS are participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). This program allows these campuses to eat free breakfast and lunch.
We will not be collecting Free and Reduced-Price Applications at our elementary and CATS campuses this year, instead, we must collect the Income Survey. This form helps us collect household information for our students attending a CEP school. Without this information, our district could lose important state funding for educational programs that our students are entitled to.
