Amy Anderson, SNS

Child Nutrition Director

Amy Anderson leads a staff of eighty employees as the district's Child Nutrition Director, a position she's held since 2006.

She has over 23 years of experience in school nutrition and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Human Nutrition and Foods from the University of Houston. To further her education, Anderson also earned her Level 5 certification from the Texas School Nutrition Association, School Nutrition Specialist (SNS) accreditation from the School Nutrition Association, and is ServSafe certified.

Anderson and her staff fuel AISD's students and staff by preparing and serving nutritious meals each and every day.
