Angleton ISD offers a range of programs that support the needs of students and parents in our community. If you have questions about these services, or have need of the services offered, please call upon our staff for assistance. These services are provided so that every student who passes through the doors of our schools has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

The Student Services staff is committed to providing support, services, and accommodations to students in the least restrictive environment. This mission is accomplished through the collaboration of parent, school personnel and community members.

Student Services Helpline
Angleton ISD has set up a helpline for students and families to call in if they are in crisis or having difficulty coping with the stressors arising in this time of crisis. People can call if they need resources/temporary crisis management, support services, or referrals.
Students or parents can use the hotline. Someone from our Student Services Team (Social Worker, LPC or School Counselor) will return phone calls between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm on Mondays-Thursdays. Please note that the return call will come from an unknown/out-of-area phone number.

Kalean Bowie
Director of Student Services

Kalean Bowie is the Director of Student Services in Angleton ISD. She completed her bachelor's degree in Accounting from Southern University, her masters in Elementary Education from Prairie View A&M University and a Master of Educational Administration from University of Houston- Clear Lake. Kalean has dedicated 41 years to the education of students in various ways. She spent 16 years at Brazosport ISD working with children from all backgrounds. Her love for children and the desire to impact students lives lead her to become an administrator in Angleton ISD where she has remained for the last 25 years. Kalean is the mother of three grown children, two sons and a daughter. She's the proud grandmother of six grandsons. Her greatest joy is spending time with family and friends, reading her favorite novels, and making special dishes for her family."Education is the most powerful weapon which can be used to change the world"
