Equipping the district with innovative technology to support 21st-century learners.

Driven by instructional objectives and considerations, the Technology Department provides support to the school through robust, secure, and reliable technology and in-classroom support. Our department consists of a director, administrative assistant, instructional technology coaches, network administrator, IT support specialists, computer technicians, and PEIMS reporting specialists.

Technology is an integral part of the learning process in all curriculum areas.  It is an essential tool that is available in all classrooms and offices in support of our district mission to prepare each student academically and socially to become a responsible and productive citizen.

Technology is viewed as a tool to create real-world learning environments, expose students to a universe of ideas, and prepare them for the future in a constantly changing world.  To support this mission, Angleton ISD has developed a digital information infrastructure designed to place technology tools in the hands of the students, staff, and teachers.

Using network, multimedia, and video conferencing technologies, students learn in a technology-rich environment and have almost unlimited resources for exploring and learning about their world.  Our technology infrastructure allows for innovative approaches to instruction, staff development and increased learning opportunities for students.
