Providing safe, reliable and professional transportation for our students.

Angleton ISD's fleet of 63 buses travels on an average of more than 3700 miles daily on 39 routes to transport more than 2,900 students to and from school. These buses are part of a well-organized, safety-oriented transportation system, with each bus inspected and repaired regularly.

Because of the precious cargo carried on school buses, great care is given to drivers' qualifications, certification, training, and operational requirements. Drivers must pass an annual physical and medical exam as prescribed by the Texas Department of Public Safety, as well as a pre-employment drug/alcohol test, criminal records background check and annual driver's license record check. Drivers are also subject to random alcohol and drug screenings throughout their employment.

Angleton ISD requires the use of non-medical grade face coverings in all AISD facilities for anyone over the age of 10.  The only exception is if a room has less than 10 people who can social distance 6 feet.
