Angleton ISD has committed to paying for all dual credit classes. A list of these classes can be located on pg. 12 of the AHS curriculum guide.
Requirements needed to take the dual credit classes are as follows:
Passing the TSI test in order to take dual college course work. For more information regarding the test go to www.brazosport.edu/TSI
Seniors are required to complete the FAFSA during their Fall semester before registering for dual credit classes in the Spring.
A student must make a C or above in his/her college class in order to receive high school credit.
If a student should fail or withdraw from his/her college coursework, he/she will be responsible for reimbursing the district for the tuition cost of the class or classes he/she dropped or withdrew from.
The district will continue to pay for the student’s classes as long as reimbursement has been made for the class the student has failed or withdrawn from.
The school district does not provide funds for books required for college classes.
