Angleton ISD offers a remote conference learning program for its students who are out due to COVID-19. The program provides real-time support from all campuses while students are at home. See the sections below for details on eligiblity, login instructions, and daily schedules.

General Information
Who is eligible to participate in remote conferencing?
- Students who have tested positive for COVID-19
- Students who are quarantining due to COVID-19
- The district may also utilize the remote conferencing option in situations where classes or grade levels will need to be closed due to COVID.
- Students may not exceed 20 instructional days of remote conferencing over the entirety of the school year.
What if the student is not well enough to participate?
- If students are not well enough to participate, the district does not expect them to complete the work under the remote conferencing program.
What will be expected of students participating in remote conferencing?
- Students will be directed to a grade-level Google Classroom with a dedicated AISD employee who will offer support.
- Students will be expected to check in at specific times. (See schedules.)
- Students will need access to a computer with a camera. Parents can contact their child's campus for help with a device.
When does the student return to school?
- The student may return to campus after the 10-day stay-at-home period if symptoms have improved and the student has been 24 hours without fever and no use of fever-reducing medications. (See Onward! - AISD COVID-19 Guidelines for more information.)
- The parent and/or student will communicate with the campus that the student will be returning to in-person instruction at the campus once the student has completed the appropriate stay-at-home period.

Step-by-Step Written Instructions
- Pick up a Chromebook from your home campus. You will need a device with a camera and internet connection. Please let your campus know if you have Wifi issues.
- Log in to your Chromebook using your student sign-in or your Clever Badge:
Username Example: 123456@cats.angletonisd.net (use YOUR student ID number)
Password Example: 1234@Aisd (use the numbers in YOUR password) - Log in to Google Classroom. Use the Google Classroom shortcut icon on your district Chromebook or visit classroom.google.com.
- Your Remote Conferencing Google Classroom will be marked with a purple heart symbol, 💜 your grade level, and Remote Conferencing. For example:
“💜 1st Grade Remote Conferencing” - Open your 💜 Remote Conferencing class and join the Google Meet link that is available at the top of the screen in the class title area.

Remote Conferencing Schedules By Grade Level
Pre-Kindergarten
- Students will log in at 9:30 a.m. each school day.
- Students will learn through a mix of live lessons as well as Marco Polo, Lexia and Near Pod activities that they will perform throughout each day.
- The instructor will provide details when students log in each day.
Kindergarten - 5th Grade- Students will log in at 9:00 a.m. each school day.
- Kinder students will learn through a mix of live lessons as well as Marco Polo, Lexia and Near Pod activities that they will perform throughout each day.
- 1st Grade students will learn through a mix of live lessons as well as Lexia, ST Math and Near Pod activities that they will perform throughout each day.
- 2nd - 5th Grade students will learn through a mix of live lessons as well as Lexia, ST Math and FEV tutorials that they will perform throughout each day.
- The instructor will provide details when students log in each day.
6th Grade - 12th Grade- Students will log in by a certain time each day based on their last name:
- Last Name A-M - Students will log in by 8:00 a.m. and will receive instruction from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Last Name N-Z - Students will log in by 12:30 p.m. and will receive instruction from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Student attendance will be taken at specific times based on an alpha split. Students MUST be present during their accounting period:
- Last Name A-D at 9:30 a.m.
- Last Name E-H at 10:30 a.m.
- Last Name J-M at 11:30 a.m.
- Last Name N-R at 12:30 p.m.
- Last Name S-U at 1:30 p.m.
- Last Name V-Z at 2:30 p.m.
- 6th - 12th Grade students' work will be delivered via MyPath and will include a combination of STAAR, TSIA, SAT and ACT Prep.
- The instructor will provide details when students log in each day.

Troubleshooting
How can I retrieve my student's password?
Visit the district's student helpdesk page at www.angletonisd.net/techhelp to retrieve your password. If you are unsuccessful, you can submit a ticket and receive a followup call from district staff.
You can also call your child's campus during school hours and front office staff can provide login information over the phone.
