AISD will only offer in-person instruction for 21-20 school year.

Update - In-Person Instruction for 2021-2022 School Year at AISD
June 16, 2021

Angleton ISD will only offer school for on-campus, in-person instruction for the 2021-2022 school year. The district will not offer a remote learning option. (Students who have received traditional homebound services will still have access to homebound services.)

The district reached the decision after reviewing guidance from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and in adherence to the Texas Legislature’s decision not to pass legislation that would allow school districts to offer a remote learning option. In addition, the district administration reviewed feedback from district staff, parents/guardians and students related to its instruction models and the 2021-2022 school year.

The district will continue to monitor and review COVID-19 information from state and county officials, including requirements and recommendations from TEA. Any new information will be communicated with students, parents/guardians and staff as needed.

If parents/guardians have questions, they should contact the superintendent’s office at 979-864-8025.
