This afternoon, a Central Elementary student was involved in an accident with a vehicle when being dismissed from school. The incident took place on the corner of Locust and Rock Island during the school’s regular dismissal time.

Campus administration and the Angleton ISD Police Department were on the scene, and the parents of the student were notified immediately. The student was released into the care of his/her parents.
