Earlier today, Angleton High School administration found a BB gun in a student’s locker. At no time were any students or staff in danger, and the campus did not go into lockdown because there was no imminent threat.

The district’s discipline protocol will be followed. We ask parents to visit with their children about the very severe consequences of their decisions and to discuss the importance of always reporting something suspicious to the authorities. Reports can be made by:

• Calling Crime Stoppers at 800-460-2222.

• Using the Anonymous Alerts system through the app or by clicking https://report.anonymousalerts.com/angletonisd/ or by visiting the AISD website and going to Helpful Links.

• Contacting or telling a campus administrator.

• Contacting or telling the AISD Police (979-997-7220).

Our main concern continues to be the safety of our students and staff at AISD. If parents have any concerns about their child’s safety, they should contact their child’s principal.
