Angleton ISD has once again been recognized as one of the Best Communities for Music Education by the NAMM Foundation, marking the third consecutive year the district has received this national honor.
The designation celebrates school districts across the country that demonstrate outstanding achievement and commitment to providing high-quality music education for all students.
This year’s recognition follows a strong showing across Angleton ISD’s Fine Arts programs. Secondary music and theatre students experienced a successful UIL season, while visual arts students earned exceptional recognition through VASE and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The district’s Aristocats dance team also completed a highly decorated competition season, further showcasing the depth of talent across AISD.
At the elementary level, dedicated efforts to align curriculum and instructional practices have strengthened the foundation of music education, ensuring students are introduced to quality fine arts experiences from an early age.
Angleton ISD’s continued recognition reflects the district’s commitment to excellence in Fine Arts and the collective efforts of its students, educators, and community.
“Achieving this honor for the third year in a row is a testament to the hard work and passion of our Fine Arts staff and students,” district leaders shared. “We are proud to provide opportunities that allow our Wildcats to grow, perform, and excel.”
Angleton ISD remains committed to fostering creativity and expanding opportunities in Fine Arts, ensuring all students have access to meaningful and enriching educational experiences.
