Every lesson taught, every bit of daily effort, and every act of support from our families (yes, that’s you!) makes a massive difference in the lives of our students. We are still going strong!
If you haven’t had a chance to participate in the "special surprise" we mentioned, don't worry—there's still time to help make this week unforgettable for our wonderful staff. Please check your student’s folder for details.

Our staff at Rancho works tirelessly every day to inspire and support our students. To show our gratitude, the PTO is hosting a Staff Appreciation Breakfast! We want to treat our amazing teachers and staff to a morning of delicious treats Monday May 4th.

Our Kinder students had a 'torch-bearing' good time learning about American symbols. Check out these mini Lady Liberties showing off their handmade crowns and torches. We think they’re doing a monumental job!

Mark your calendars! May 4-8th is all about our incredible educators.
We’ve got a special surprise in the works that we can’t wait to share. Parents, check your child's folders for a letter coming home with all the "secret" details! Let’s make this the best Teacher Appreciation Week yet!

Congratulations 4th grade, you had the highest attendance last week and you get the recess bags!

Engineering or snacking? In Mrs. Aaron’s 2nd-grade math class, it’s a bit of both! Our students are moving beyond the textbook to build 2D and 3D shapes from the ground up. By using marshmallows and toothpicks to represent vertices and edges, these young mathematicians are gaining a deeper understanding of geometric properties. Way to go, Grade 2!

We had the best time welcoming Ruby the Golden Doodle and Bojangles the Bunny this week. From Bojangles’ stylish hats to Ruby’s endless supply of wagging tails, our students were all smiles. There’s nothing quite like a "paws-itive" break in the school day to keep everyone motivated! https://faithfulpawshouston.org/
Congrats 3rd grade!

We couldn't do it without our Busy Bees! 🐝💛
This morning, we had the pleasure of hosting a special breakfast to celebrate the incredible volunteers who give their time and energy to our students and staff. From the classroom to the library, your hard work creates a "buzz" of excitement and support that makes our school a better place every single day.
To our volunteers: Thank you for "bee-ing" absolutely amazing! We appreciate you more than words can say.

Small actions, big impact! We’re so impressed by the character and commitment shown by these students and teachers. Way to go, everyone!

From soil to sprout! Our 2nd graders are getting a front-row seat to the life cycle of plants. Mrs. Walker-Campos has her science classes busy measuring, watering, and monitoring their new classroom garden. It’s more than just growing food; it’s about patience, observation, and discovery.
Hear ye, hear ye! Our Quest for School Breakfast has officially come to a legendary conclusion!
From Dragon Egg Sandwiches to Royal Croissants, our brave students fueled up like true knights and wizards all week long. We’ve loved seeing our "adventurers" storm the castle (a.k.a. the cafeteria) with so much excitement. A huge shoutout to our incredible kitchen staff for transforming our school into a medieval realm and making every morning a feast fit for royalty!

The future is looking bright! These 'Shout Out' recipients are proving that with a little effort and a lot of heart, you can achieve great things. Join us in celebrating the incredible progress our students are making every single day!

Big things are happening in our library! We are so excited to introduce our brand-new VOX Books! These "books that talk" allow our students to listen to a professional narration while they follow along with the physical pages, helping to boost literacy and confidence.
This was made possible through a wonderful partnership between Mrs. Kluttz and our Librarian, Mrs. Powell, who successfully applied for a grant through the Education Foundation.
Check out these photos from our "Launch Day!" A few lucky students were selected to be our "First Listeners" and official product testers. From the smiles on their faces, we think these books are going to be a huge hit!

There is nothing we love more than putting a spotlight on student success! From mastering new skills to helping out a friend, these daily 'Shout Outs' remind us why our school is such a special place to be. We’re so proud of these students for setting the bar high!

Look who’s back! This was Fargo’s second time visiting our campus with Faithful Paws Pet Therapy, and at this point, she’s a total campus celebrity. Whether it’s a belly rub or a quiet moment of petting, Fargo has a special way of making every student feel calm and confident—especially during testing season.
Faithful Paws is an incredible organization in Houston that trains pet-and-owner teams to bring joy to those who need it most. They truly live up to their mission of providing "unconditional love."
