We're so excited to announce that our new Free Little Library is open in front of Rancho! This is a wonderful opportunity to promote literacy and community. The library is for everyone; students, parents, and community members. We encourage you to take a book that you'd like to read and or leave a book that you'd like to share. Let's keep the books flowing and inspire a love of reading in our community!

Our kindergarten students are busy building a strong foundation in math! Here, they were using manipulatives on a five-frame to practice making groups of five. This hands-on activity is a great way to help them visualize numbers and build their counting skills!
Our 5th graders were hard at work today, becoming real-life scientists! They took a field trip around the campus to record their observations of balanced and unbalanced forces. It's incredible to see them apply what they learn in the classroom to the world around them!

We’re excited to start something new!
While students are waiting for dismissal, or when they arrive at school and are in the gym waiting to be picked up by their teachers, we want them to be READING!
To make it even more fun, we have special “You’ve Been Caught Reading” tickets that students can earn when we see them enjoying a book. These tickets can be traded in for a chance to win prizes!
Please remind your child to keep their library bag, folder, and books in their backpack so they can read anytime they’d like, and who knows, they just might get caught reading and win a prize!
Thank you for helping us build a school full of readers!

Fall pictures are tomorrow. Bring your smiles!

Reminder - Fall Picture Day is tomorrow morning!
See you tomorrow at open house 5-6:30PM.

In 3rd grade, we took a creative twist on author’s purpose! Students chose a reason to write and created their own pieces—persuasive, informative, or entertaining. Afterward, they proudly read their work aloud while classmates worked to identify which author’s purpose was used.

We hope to see all you at open house this Thursday!
