There is nothing quite like the "aha!" moment in 2nd grade! In Mrs. Aaron’s class, our students are tackling three-digit subtraction. From using whiteboards to following along with the big screen, these mathematicians are working hard to master regrouping and problem-solving. We love seeing their confidence grow every single day!

Thanks to our recent library grant, our students are diving into new STEM and Makerspace kits. These first graders from Miss Aleman’s class earned some special library time and wasted no time putting their engineering skills to the test. It’s amazing to see them collaborate, follow blueprints, and bring their ideas to life. We are so grateful for the community support that makes these resources possible!

In Pre-K, we grow our minds and our muscles! Reading Get Up and Go! gave our students a chance to explore new vocabulary while thinking about all the amazing things their bodies can do. Providing a foundation for a healthy, active lifestyle starts right here in the classroom.

Teamwork makes the dream work in 4th grade! Our students dived into Social Studies by working together in groups to research and solve problems. It is so rewarding to watch them share ideas, listen to one another, and grow as a team. Great things happen when we work together!

Classic favorites like the Duck Pond, Milk Can Toss, and Fishing Pond.

Who knew math could be this much fun? Kindergarten and 1st-grade students in Mrs. Heard's and Mrs. Counts' classes traded in their paper and pencils for shaving cream today! Using sensory play to practice numbers and math facts helps our youngest learners build fine motor skills while making memory connections that stick. Learning is definitely hands-on (and a little messy) at our school!
