This afternoon, Angleton ISD Bus #23 was involved in an accident at Southside Elementary. Emergency personnel were called to the scene. No one has reported an injury.

The AISD Transportation Department is in the process of notifying the parents of the students who were on the bus. Students will not need to be transferred to another bus. The bus is cleared to transport the students home unless parents have already come to pick them up from the scene.

Due to the accident, the bus may be delayed for the remainder of its route.
