Earlier this morning, a fire alarm at Angleton High School activated after the system detected possible smoke in a storage closet. All students and staff were immediately evacuated. The Angleton Fire Department and members of the Angleton ISD Maintenance Department promptly responded. After a thorough inspection, they determined there was no smoke or fire, and the building was cleared. The students and staff at AHS have been allowed back into the building to return to school as normal.
