ATTENTION - AHS Parents

Tuesday, April 28, 2026

Earlier this morning, a fire alarm at Angleton High School activated after a smoke detector went off over a steam table in the kitchen. All students and staff were immediately evacuated. The Angleton Fire Department and members of the Angleton ISD Safety Team and Maintenance Department promptly responded. After a thorough inspection, they determined there was no smoke or fire. The building was cleared, and the students and staff at AHS have been allowed back into the building to return to school as normal.

If you have any questions, please contact your child’s campus.
