🌟 Congratulations to Mrs. Barnard, our Teacher Champ of the Week! 🌟 Mrs. Barnard brings learning to life by giving students fun, hands-on ways to practice reading and writing! From using Play-Doh to practice word sounds and blend them together to using mats to “tap it out, map it out, and write it out,” she helps students build the skills and confidence they need to become stronger readers. She goes above and beyond in ALL that she does and our school is blessed immensely to have her! 📚 Thank you, Mrs. Barnard, for giving our Wildcats so many tools to succeed! 💜🐾

It's homecoming week!

Congratulations to Ms. Burkett, our Teacher Champ of the Week! Ms. Burkett does a fantastic job of having student warm-ups prepared and she models each step needed to solve the math problems successfully! She encourages students to “think aloud” and proudly share their problem-solving strategies, creating an engaging environment where mathematical thinking is celebrated. It is always wonderful to see students positively encourage their classmates by clapping and celebrating one another’s efforts and ideas!

Congratulations to Weiland Brice for officially ALREADY reading over ONE MILLION WORDS this year! *Fun Fact* Weiland finished last school year with over TWO million words--can you even imagine the brain growth??! Yes, Weiland does love to read--his favorite genre is Fantasy Fiction. However, reading time is something he and his family set aside INTENTIONALLY--phones away, no screens. When every study in the world shows that reading is good for your mind, heart, and body, what are you waiting for? I'd be happy to send you family reading recs!
