Hello Rancho Families! We have so many exciting things happening, take a look at what’s new next week:
You’ve Been Caught Reading!
We’re starting something new to celebrate our readers!
While students are waiting for dismissal or waiting in the gym in the morning, we want them to be READING.
Students can earn special “You’ve Been Caught Reading” tickets when we see them enjoying a book.
Tickets can be traded in for a chance to win prizes!
Please remind your child to keep their library bag, folder, and books in their backpack so they’re ready to read anytime.
Who knows? They just might get caught reading and win!
We’d also love to feature our Rancho readers on Facebook! If you’d like to share, please send a picture of your child (or you and your child) reading to slpowell@angletonisd.net.
It’s Fundraiser Time! Rancho Isabella PTO Domino’s Slice the Price
Our PTO fundraiser kicks off today!
For just $20, you get a Slice the Price card: Buy a large pizza, get a large pizza FREE! Students are bringing home order forms – you can purchase from your favorite Rancho student OR online at Domino’s Slice the Price Link.
Funds raised will support field trips and student programs. Let’s get started strong!
September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month
We’re excited to share a wonderful opportunity for our students! Families can sign their children up for a Brazoria County Library System (BCLS) library card.
Here’s how it works:
Complete the form your child will bring home and return it to us.
We’ll deliver completed applications to the Angleton Library.
Cards will be created and sent back to Rancho for distribution.
Having a library card opens the door to so many resources, including:
Cloud Library (ebooks & audiobooks)
The Library of Things (fun and useful items for checkout)
Countless other learning and creativity tools!
We encourage every student to take advantage of this valuable resource.
Thank you for always supporting your child’s reading journey and for helping us make Rancho a school full of readers!
