Capturing Character: Perseverance
Welcome to this month’s edition of the Capturing Kids’ Hearts (CKH) news! As we move into the heart of the spring semester, our campus focus has shifted toward a powerful essential characteristic: Perseverance.
Perseverance isn’t just about "toughing it out"—it’s about the intentional choices we make every day to stay connected and lift one another up. This month, our students and staff are moving beyond simply "getting through" the year; we are choosing to finish strong.
Focus on Growth: We are challenging our leaders to shift focus from what might be missing to what is growing—celebrating small wins to build collective confidence.
The Power of Affirmation: Students are learning to give specific, meaningful affirmations. When encouragement becomes a habit, no one has to persevere alone.
"Perseverance is not a long race; it is many short races one after the other."
