Big smiles and even bigger accomplishments! Our dedicated readers who conquered 15 Texas Bluebonnet Award books were treated to a special VIP trip to the Movie Grill in Bay City.

We had a blast watching the new Pout-Pout Fish movie followed by a sunny picnic lunch at the park. There’s nothing better than seeing hard work turn into a day of fun with friends. Way to go, readers!

Our Learning is Taking Flight! We had some very special "high-flying" guests visit our campus recently! Our students had a front-row seat to an incredible Birds of Prey presentation, where they got a "birds-eye view" of majestic hawks and silent owls.

About the Visit. From learning about wingspans and talons to understanding the vital role these predators play in our ecosystem, our students were captivated! These "wild" moments bring science to life and inspire our future conservationists to appreciate the nature right in our own backyard.

A Special Thank You. A huge shout-out to the Friends of Brazoria Wildlife Refuges for bringing this program to our school! This non-profit organization works tirelessly to support our local national wildlife refuges and provides these educational programs to area schools for free. We are so grateful for their dedication to our students!

Join the Fun: Migration Celebration!

The excitement continues! Mark your calendars for the 29th Annual Migration Celebration at the San Bernard National Wildlife Refuge. It is a weekend full of FREE family fun!

Dates: April 25th & 26th

Time: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Location: 6801 County Road 306, Brazoria TX

Activities: Archery, reptile encounters, marsh buggy tours, kayaking, and more!

It’s the perfect way to get the kids outside to explore our local wildlife. See you there!

From vintage lenses to future layouts! Our Shutterbugs took a deep dive into the history of our community and craft during their recent trip to the History Center.

A massive thank you to Mrs. Winder for being such an incredible host! She opened up the archives, allowing our students to get hands-on with old camera equipment and explore the fascinating history of Angleton ISD.

We also got a "sneak peek" at the big leagues by visiting the High School yearbook staff and Mrs. Evans! Seeing where their photography journey can lead was so inspiring. Of course, no Shutterbugs trip is complete without a little fieldwork—the students took a creative break outside to practice their angles and capture the beauty of the day.

Stop and give a round of applause for our newest math superstars! Mrs. Arias’ kindergarteners have been working so hard on their numbers, and we are officially celebrating the students who have conquered the challenge of counting all the way to 100! There is nothing quite like the pride of getting to sign your name on the big orange poster for the whole school to see. Way to go, little Wildcats! We are so proud of your hard work and persistence.

It is time to keep the momentum going! We are back with another round of Shout Outs to celebrate more of our incredible students and staff who are leveling up in and out of the classroom. From massive reading milestones to being top-tier classroom citizens, these individuals are making us proud!
