The LadyCats Basketball program will host its annual preseason mandatory parent meeting at 5:30 PM today at Angleton High School. The purpose of this meeting is to cover important details about the upcoming season. The meeting will be held in the Lecture Hall. Parking and entrance will be at the main gymnasium. Doors open at 5:00 PM and close at 5:45 PM so coaches can attend the meeting.
The team from SSR Letter Jackets will be on campus Wednesday, October 21st from: 10:50 AM – 12:20 PM at the Angleton High School Main Gymnasium Foyer.
They will be there to size students for letter jackets and take up order forms and payments. All directions on how to order your letter jackets are inside your packet.
If you have not already done so, please pick up a packet from your coach, sponsor or director.

During this time, you are responsible for completing your college coursework online and on time for ALL scheduled college classes (even for the classes that usually meet face-to-face at Angleton High School). This is a good time to get ahead in your dual classes!
Attendance is required in classes that meet face-to-face at the Brazosport College Campus unless otherwise communicated by the professor.
Brazosport College campus is open all week if you need support from the Student Success Center.

We were excited to host a special guest speaker assembly on today featuring Angleton High School alumnus Brigadier General Landis Maddox '91. Brigadier General Maddox was inducted into the AHS Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame in 2023. A former Wildcat All-American football player, he graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and went on to serve over 30 years in the U.S. Army. He shared an uplifting message with our students about leadership, character, perseverance, and how education shapes opportunity—reminding our Wildcats that where they start does not define how far they can go.
Free College Application Week is next week during Fall Break. If you apply through Apply Texas, all application fees are free!
Join AHS students for a Bake Sale on Thursday, October 8, from 5–8 p.m. at La Casona in Angleton!
Our students will help sell homemade baked goods to raise money for a field trip. The fundraiser also gives our students an opportunity to practice communication, teamwork, and customer service skills in the community.
Families, staff, and community members are invited to stop by, purchase a sweet treat, and support our students. Thank you for helping make this learning experience possible!
