End-of-Course

Beginning this August our Rancho school and teacher Dojo accounts will be closed:
Angleton ISD is excited to roll out a new tool that will simplify how we communicate with you. Connect, built right into our Angleton ISD app and website, offers secure and safe two-way messaging. Connect will become the district's standard two-way communication tool for two-way messaging and class announcements. This addition allows us to bring the community closer together by offering more in one place.
Why Connect?
One place for every message. No more juggling multiple communication apps like Class Dojo, Group Me, Remind or SportsYou, flipping between inboxes, or remembering different logins.
Safe and secure. Built-in moderation and other safety tools allow us to ensure safety of all communications, at all times.
Learn more at www.angletonisd.net/connect.

Big dreams start with a single spark! Our Rancho 5th graders recently spent the day exploring the Angleton ISD CTE building, getting a hands-on look at the incredible career paths waiting for them in high school. From professional grooming to health science, the future is looking bright!
Step aside, grown-ups—the kids are running the show! Back in December during Winterfest, some incredibly lucky students won big at our silent auction, and this week they finally stepped into their new roles as Librarian, Principal, and Shutterbugs for the day!
A special shoutout to Harper, who pulled double duty as both our official Librarian and Principal for the day (talk about a busy schedule!). Meanwhile, our dynamic brother-and-sister duo Major and Ryan took over the school cameras as our official Shutterbugs, capturing all the action behind the scenes.
From helping out at the snack tables and handing out treats, to testing out the walkie-talkies and documenting the day, these kiddos absolutely crushed it. We love giving our students a chance to shine and see the school from a whole new perspective. Future leaders in the making!

As we wrap up an incredible school year, we couldn’t be prouder of our students and staff! From hitting massive reading milestones to showing extra kindness, helping with clubs, and lifting each other up, these smiles say it all.
Thank you to our amazing parents and community for supporting us every step of the way. We see the hard work our kids put in every single day, and we love celebrating them!

Rain in the forecast? No problem for us! Today’s School Jamboree was an absolute success, and our students didn't miss a beat. From indoor picnics and glow-stick dance parties to rock painting, STEM challenges, and bouncing the afternoon away, we proved that the best days are the ones we spend together.
A huge thank you to our incredible staff, volunteers, and parents who pivoted seamlessly to bring the fun indoors. Our community shines bright no matter the weather!

Back by popular demand! Even though an apple bar usually feels a bit like a fall treat, our amazing teachers and staff love it so much we just couldn't resist bringing it back.
A little midday treat is the perfect way to fuel our team as they pour so much love and energy into our students every single day. We love our staff, and we love keeping them fueled up for greatness!

Our incredible students who reached the Million Word Mark this year were treated to an action-packed field trip to Main Event! From pizza parties to gaming, it was the perfect way to celebrate their hard work and love for reading.
We are so proud of these young scholars for their dedication. Who knew reading could lead to this much fun?

Our amazing principals hosted a "No Tardy Party" popcorn celebration for our students who made it to school on time every day this year! To sweeten the deal, students with zero discipline referrals were treated to an ice cream party.
We love celebrating our students' hard work, dedication, and excellent choices. Check out these smiles and a little celebratory dance line!

Our hallways were buzzing for the very last AR Parade of the school year! We are so incredibly proud of our 1st grade Rancho Super Readers for putting in the work, meeting their goals, and crossing that finish line. Seeing their faces light up as they get their shirts is the best way to wrap up the year.
Way to go, Rancho Readers! You’ve proven that reading really is a superpower!

Last Friday, the stage came alive for our annual Talent Show, and wow... our students absolutely blew us away! From show-stopping dance moves and beautiful singing to incredible gymnastics and ribbon routines, the bravery and creativity on display were unmatched.
A huge thank you to our amazing staff, the backstage crew, and everyone who came out to cheer them on. We love providing a space where our students can shine bright and express themselves. Our community is truly full of stars!

Deep dives and giant discoveries! Our 4th graders took over Moody Gardens Aquarium, getting up close with everything from mesmerizing jellyfish to our favorite feathered friends in the penguin exhibit. Seeing their faces light up as they connect their classroom lessons to the real world is what it’s all about!

We are so proud to announce that one of our third graders, Liam Gonzales Brignoni has been selected as a National Math Star. This prestigious honor is awarded only to students who score in the top 2% nationally on their math Map assessments.
Liam was recognized at the recent School Board meeting and presented with an Achievement Medal for his hard work and dedication to excellence. We can’t wait to see how far his "math powers" take him!

Today’s Senior Cat Walk was all about inspiration! Our AHS seniors took one last lap through the Rancho Isabella halls, greeted by cheers, high-fives, and plenty of hugs from their former teachers.
To our seniors: Graduation is just days away! Don’t forget where you started as you head off to change the world. To our current elementary students: One day, this will be you!
