The 89th Texas legislature has passed, and Governor Abbott has signed into law HB 1481, which bans students from using cell phones in Texas public schools. While we await further guidance on this new law from the Texas Education Agency, Angleton ISD is also currently working on a plan to implement this new law effectively. Once we have complete information on how AISD will comply and enforce these new requirements, we will communicate these to our students, staff, parents and community.
