Angleton High School student Sydney Cazes is turning her passion for art into both recognition and impact.
Sydney was recently honored with an Excellence Award for her artwork at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, one of the most competitive student art showcases in the region. Her achievement reflects both her artistic talent and dedication to her craft.
Beyond the classroom, Sydney is using her creativity to make a difference. She is currently working on a coloring book titled “Let’s Color with Sydney,” a project designed to raise funds for SOAR. Through this initiative, Sydney hopes to combine her love of art with a meaningful cause, giving back to the community while inspiring others through her work.
Sydney is also an active member of the Angleton High School Art Club, where she continues to grow as an artist and collaborate with fellow students who share her passion.
Her accomplishments highlight the strong Fine Arts programs in Angleton ISD and the ways students are encouraged to pursue excellence while making a positive impact beyond the classroom.
Sydney’s creativity, initiative, and heart for service represent the very best of Wildcat pride.
