At the end of the school day, a student had a medical emergency at Heritage Junior High, and emergency medical technicians (EMTs), including an ambulance, were called to the scene. The school went on a “hold” during this time, which is the standard district safety protocol where students and staff are held in their rooms or in areas to keep the hallways clear until the “hold” is lifted.
Out of respect for the student and family, and in accordance with privacy laws, the district cannot disclose the identity of the student or share specific medical details.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your child’s principal.
