The power has been restored at Central Elementary, and phones are working on the campus. The school is operating as normal.

Currently, there is a power outage at the Central Elementary campus. At this time, phones are also out at the campus due to the power outage. Students and staff are safe. The students are being held in lit areas of the school until the issue is fixed.

We are monitoring the temperature in the building and working with Texas New Mexico Power to fix the issue, but we do not have an estimated time for power to be restored at of now.

We will keep you updated on the progress of the situation, and parents can call the Angleton ISD Administration Building if they have any questions or concerns at 979-864-8000.
