🚗 **Attention Parents!** 🚗 Just a quick reminder that you must have a Southside issued car rider tag to pick up your child from school! If you don’t have one, please stop by the office to get yours. If you arrive without a tag, you’ll need to check in at the office to verify your identity. No child will be dismissed through the car lane without a car tag.

We had an incredible day on Friday with our teachers parading through the neighborhood! They brought so much excitement and energy, getting everyone pumped for the return to school on Tuesday. A huge thank you to all the teachers for their enthusiasm and to the community for showing up to support our students. Southside teachers and staff had a great morning at the district convocation event. We enjoyed some great games and activities, heard a wonderful speaker, Damon West. He shared his incredible story. The energy was fantastic, and it was a perfect blend of learning and fun.

Our amazing electives teachers and intervention teachers are the heartbeat that keeps Southside running strong! From sparking creativity in art and music, to encouraging healthy living in PE, to providing intervention support that helps our students shine — they make learning fun and meaningful every single day.
