Sunday, June 16 - Important Message from Angleton ISD
Angleton High School will be closed to the public until 1:00 p.m. tomorrow, Monday, June 17 due to an electrical issue with the main breaker. AHS summer staff will report at their regular time in the morning to the CTE Center, which is operating as normal. The rest of the district will also open as normal tomorrow.
The issue at the high school is expected to be fixed by noon. If you have any questions while the issue is being fixed, please contact the main district number at 979-864-8000.
We've talked about how the Anonymous Alerts (AA) reporting app is vital to ensuring a secure learning environment at AISD and thanks to this invaluable tool, a potentially dangerous situation was swiftly averted at a district not too far from ours.
This outcome underscores the importance of community vigilance and proactive reporting. Together, we can maintain a safe and supportive atmosphere for all.
